Most people here that have tried the Lectron on a DRZ soon find the deficiencies and opt for the Keihen FCR carburetor that the performance version of the bike came with.

So calling an Lectron "EFI like" really triggers me an FCR has more similarities to a EFI Setup . You may also try CV carbs thats bigger than stock 36mm one on drz. The Mikuni is not our favorite carburetor but you can jet it and make the the bike run well. The biggest drawback to the Mikuni is that the fuel mileage isn't great and the jetting seems to only work for a relatively narrow altitude and temp range. The beauty of the Lectron carb is its very WIDE operating range.

However, my bike before was an absolute animal before with the Keihin and the needle/jetting it had in it (tunable characterics).
