Ammo in Payday 2 doesn't work like that; you don't get a guaranteed 6 ammo per box. According to the wiki, the pickup is 1.67 (basically 2) to 5.67 (I'm counting Walk in Closet for this because who doesn't have it?), and the game uses RNG in that range.
