I don't think anyone is dissin' the Sage stock, rather, it seems a disproportionate expenditure considering the cost of the rifle. A Sage for an M1A is about 1/3 of the purchase price of the rifle. But the cost of the Sage for a Mini 14 is roughly equal to the cost of the Mini 14.

Oct 10, 2019 · I bought a standard Mini 14 stock , hand inlet-ted the area on the left side of the stock for the FA parts. It works great. Actually; the 13" barreled gun looks good in the stock and doesn't raise an eyebrow with the non NFA crowd until you fire it on FA. I have the same setup on my short barreled AC556.
