Just thought I'd outline the process I've gone through to achieve a menu performance improvement with my Legends Ultimate with CoinOps X Arcade Version 5, plus SNES, Genesis, Sega CD UCEs. I've also reduced the storage requirement by several GB. If this is beyond the understanding of anyone, I'm happy to upload all these files somewhere!

You can't. CoinOps is for the PC. CoinOpsX is for the Legends devices. You would need to use an AddOn Tool to combine all of those games with a proper 64-bit libretro core for the Legends.
So I assumed I could just run the ARCADE one when I wanted to play arcade games, LEGENDS for retro games, etc. without the lag in the menu, scrolling, videos, etc. Am I misunderstanding that concept? Using the addonx from the startup menu loads me DIRECTLY into coinopsx with the scrolling game menu and video preview of each game when I start up the cab. The difference is, Legends Unchained doesn’t supply any games, you have to obtain them yourself. Having said that, it’s relatively straight-forward to find what you might want on archive.org. Also, Legends Unchained has a great discord, the main devs hang out in there, are super nice, and the community is really helpful in general.
