Build more butcher shops and enable butchering on more dwarves. The problem isn't miasma, the problem is valuable corpses not being used quickly enough. I usually put the butcher shop at the top level near the entrance. One level up (outside) I dig a channel directly over the centre of the shop and put a grate down.When everyone is out of the room, lock the door (to make sure no one is standing on the trapdoor) and tell a dwarf to pull the lever, dumping the garbage dump into the magma sea. Also, the door will prevent miasma spreading into the rest of the fortress, should you choose to dispose of refuse and corpses this way.
