No light primer strikes on that day. I believe this was my fault, as trying to fix the trigger hitch issue awhile back I oiled up the striker spring which could have gunked the striker channel up. Second: I think your issues with your feed on the first round is your method. Put in your loaded magazine, pull the slide all the way back, and then let it go like you were shooting a slingshot. Don't ease the slide forward; manhandle it. Yank it back, and let it fly! Don't worry, the gun is made for this.
