I have reinstalled, reset settings, changed listening pos, tried a sound card, tried a usb sound card. I even tried stream through NoMachine using it's audio. I have yet to try Linux, if FFXIV works on it. The only fix is to restart the game. Not even disabling the audio hardware and enabling with FFXIV works. Starting to believe this is a game ...
