I was diagnosed with PTSD while deployed on active duty. Upon retiring in 2008 with 20+ years in the military, I received SC for PTSD at 10%. In 2009 my SC for PTSD was raised to 70%. Since 2009 I have been seeing a private psychiatrist. In 2011, I asked him to write a letter of my diagnosis and treatment on my behalf.

With exception of at least one and maybe two VA C&P exams the examiners have been almost hostile and quick to let you know of their indifference to your claim. QTC under rated my Sciatica and Lumbosacral fracture as mild or 10%. VA overrode QTC and rated bilateral sciatica 20% and Lumbosacral 40% based on “objective” nerve conduction studies, range of motion and MRI’s QTC had access to.
