This is really the limits of a "street'able" cam in a 5.3L Vortec Truck engine IMO. The 5.3L just doesn't respond well to larger duration / larger lift cams - the cubic inch just isn't there to utilize it. The stock heads, intake manifold, and 78mm throttle body just won't flow enough air to make much more HP natural aspirated.Most supercharger kits for my Escalade (LQ9 engine) cost $5k or more.
