I see them for all the old Toyotas pre-1998 but don't see any for Scion. It turns out that when they changed the scion Tc wheel pattern from 5x100 to 5x114.3 they also increased the hub center as well to 60.1mm. Yes you can probably bolt the 5-speed auto tranny from the Camry to the Scion's engine but you will have to swap the ECU from the Camry as well as the Scion ECU is not designed for a 5-speed auto, just the 4-speed. If you have, then it's a good idea to disconnect the battery negative, wait a minute or so, and then reconnect to force the ECU to relearn the engine behavior. Any changes (intake, etc) result in a relearn situation.

Now what he may have meant is that to physically fit the 2ZZ into the xB you must modify, or rebuil part of the chassis on one side. How he knows that, I am not sure. No one has come forward publicly to show an attempt at the swap.

My 2009 xB started to have this problem about 4 days ago. There's been a delay in gear shifting from 2nd to 3rd. VSC Off and check engine lights are on. Scanner gives DTC code P0793 (Intermediate Shaft Speed Sensor A Circuit No Signal) 1/1. During replacement I disconnected the battery.
