I make a large 16x16 building with 5x4 bedrooms, a fireplace and two heaters, and the vents are enough to keep the rooms at the same temp as the main area. the vents only seem to work a little for me. during a cold snap, the heaters barely seemed to heat up the room on the other side of the wall. #9.

I've experienced this to a degree - it works fine on the early materials but anything requiring 'strong support' won't build. It makes building with stairs in concrete, brick and carbon buildings impossible as you have to substitute the ceiling with a much weaker one - plus it looks terrible.
