Buzzken uses 2.5in pipe and 409 stainless (ok-ish) Rawtek is 3in and 304 stainless (great) Darkside uses 3in and 316stainless (best) Buzzken is cheapest to buy, but also cheapest kit. Worth going to Rawtek or Darkside IMO. I have Rawtek downpipe & DPF, very happy with the kit.DIY would save on the delete, and fixing what VW gave you. To me the delete looks more appealing either way. Rawtek's directions don't look to difficult. Steps 16, 19, & 20 might challenge a driveway mechanic. I saw a thread where the DPF was removed through the passenger wheel well, axle removed, easier than the subframe drop.

Yanked out the egr cooler and looped the fluid hose to the heater core with a brass fitting. Yanked out the adblue tank with heater, wiring, hose, injector etc. Replaced the egr with a race pipe and cleaned out the intake manifold. Hardest part was pulling the egr without pulling down the inter cooler.
