Jeep patriot throttle body reset.

I am having this problem with my 2011 Jeep patriot. The ETC light came on, then the traction light, then the engine light. Seems to be a problem with the Jeep patriots. I am very disappointed. I spoke with a local mechanic and he is shocked that the throttle body should need to be replaced on such a new vehicle if at all.Today we have to replace Orry's throttle body in his Patriot. After installing the throttle body there is a a simple relearn process.My 2010 went i to limp mode and threw some codes like 3 years ago. Changed throttle body and it fixed it. Same thing happened last year so I replaced mine twice in 2 years. Dont know if I had a bad one or what. Got it off ebay. I've also seen that there are two different electrical connector configurations on the throttle body. Mine had the 6 pins in a row. I was able to track one down at the dealership.Ok you need to relearn the throttle body using a compatible scan tool. If you don't have one, you will need to bring your vehicle to a shop to have this done. This is a simple procedure and should not take them long to do.
