Kawasaki vulcan 1500 starting problems.

Yesterday my 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 suddenly developed starting problems. Its been starting just fine, but in the evening I tried to start it and the starter seemed to die after a couple of seconds trying to start the bike. It would turn for a second then run out of juice and make a clicking noise.
