You would get a scan tool compatible with your vehicle's communication system. If this is a newer diesel, then probably J1939 protocol is used. He adjusted it and the drive home home was the best it has ever been. So, in my opinion, the combination of the watts link and proper steering gear adjustment is essential, at least on my coach. On ours, Monaco saved ~30' of air line, front to rear, to feed the compressor into the wet tank which means it has to fill all the big tanks to get pressure to six packs.
