I studied my butt off since Christmas for this test and did Kaplan. Doing the Kaplan Question Trainer questions at my own computer really simulated how the NCLEX works (font was the same too!). The RN NCLEX is no longer 75 minimum it’s 60 minimum and 130 max. 75 and shut off isn’t necessarily good or bad. You might have aced it (I hope you did) but it also shuts off if people stay below the passing line for a certain number of questions. Nclex PN new gen 150 questions. Hello I took my test july 9th computer shut off at 150 questions and this is my 6th time taking it.. I took it 5 times prior and always shut off at 75 questions. I had about 15 SATA questions, 4 pictures/diagrams questions, maybe 10 pharmacology, and a bunch of prioritizing. To me it seemed like the questions were more upper level than the first time I took the test.

I passed 5 CAT exams, finishing 4 in 75 questions and 1 in 145. When I tell you, I did not feel good AT ALL during this exam. I was so sure that I was getting pretty much 70% of the questions wrong. I got to question 72 and thought “this is definitely shutting off at 75, but not for a good reason.” And then it did. Got the Pearson email an hour later and got the good pop-up.
