Susanoo kinda sucks imo, since it makes you use skills you might not want to, and it resets after lvl 9 runs out. It is just not comfy to use. Susanoo is great for fists, but for spear not so much. Those two weapons have great synergy (except possibly with scaling), since spear is long range heavy hits, and kusa is short range rapid hits. Starting bonuses really don't matter that much, it's just 3 stat points. Best get it into stuff that increases ki and health. I am currently switching my weapons every time something gets a level or two more than the others, since in the beginning, stuff like getting an actual build going is not needed, and i'm having a blast this way.
