Consumer Directed Employer for Clients (CDWA) is the CDE for Washington's Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). It pays and supervises the state's 46,000 Individual Providers (IPs) who provide in-home personal care and respite services. Clients can select, schedule, manage, and dismiss their IPs, and pay directly to CDWA.
