Recently got accepted into CSULB as a transfer. Was wondering if anyone could give some insight into the Criminal Justice program or to give their opinion of the school overall. I got accepted into SDSU for the same program but have been weighing between the two options and would like to hear from others if possible.
The part time track is two courses each Fall and Spring and one course during the first 6wk summer session. Each course has one session a week. SJSU is a great school and if the cost of living is your main deciding factor, SJSU might be a good choice since you live close. On the flip side, SDSU is a lot more engaging socially and there are definitely tech jobs in San Diego. After being at both schools I definitely prefer SDSU. Statistically, CSU Long Beach is a harder school to get into. Only 25-30% of people get accepted while CSU La and Northridge are easier to get into. You can find all these statistics online. You should congratulate yourself for getting into CSU Long Beach~ there are a lot of people that get rejected with above 3.5 gpa's from high schools.

And you can guess all you want, but af...Public transportation, beaches, nightlife (gaslamp) are all better in SD. Outside of the dorms, housing may be cheaper if you go inward of east county. The campus life at SDSU will be better. San Diego in general is a much more fun city also than Long Beach. If you can afford either, I would go SDSU.Hello! SDSU business is also pretty well known for finance as well. 2. SDSU has a way better basketball/football team than CSULB, probably athletics overall. Basketball was SRO the pre-COVID season, likely would’ve been the same this season as well. I’m definitely jealous of CSULB’s pyramid arena though.
