Some enemies at the summoning pools will drop "schematic fragments". 4 or 5 of those will give you a random recipe that can be almost anything you can't get from other sources at the isle. You can exchange fragments of power for recipes at the Tower. Fragments of power are really easy to get, to the point if being boring, actually!

It may be better just to dismantle Gray One weapons and then use the resulting material to repair the other items they drop.
