It's the gen 4 version. But the gen 3 fits the slide profile exactly the same. I went with the gen 4 version because I use this slide on other gen 4 frames. I also modified the Dagger's frame to accommodate gen 4/5 slides.Things get a little funky when you start swapping slide lengths on frames. I am running a G17.3 slide on a G19.3 frame and it requires a gen 5 barrel due to the barrel lug and slide release compatibility. It’s a fun gun though and confuses people at the range.
