matsar2000 Discussion starter. 22 posts · Joined 2015. #1 · Jun 11, 2017. Hi all, I have a 95 YJ with a 2.5L. My fuel pressure on the rail with key-on-engine-off is 36 pi. When running at idle the pressure jumps to 80 psi, oscillating between 75 and 85. Disconnecting the vacuum line to the regulator has no effect on the pressure.Return line at 0psi so that looks clear. Checked temp sensor and ohm readings go down when warm. Map sensor checks OK. Grounds and voltage to the ECM is good. New coil and timing set at 8 BTDC Vacuum lines are all new and confirmed correctly hooked up. When I installed the used kit I used new O2, Coolant sensor, and fuel filter.You can replace them with bulk FI hose and good hose clamps. If you are replacing the hard lines, you can use a flaring tool to put a little bubble flare on the ends of the lines to give a good grip on the rubber hose/clamps. Same with the vapor hard line.
