I recently received my Ruger AC556 and test fired it. It will not go into Full Auto. It will only do semi-auto and 3-round bursts. I had great difficulty even getting the trigger assembly into the stock with the barrel-receiver unit in place. Ultimately I took it to a local gun range and they were able to get it together.

The A Team never used any AC556s. They used stainless Mini-14s with factory collapsible stocks and after market, pin-on, flash hiders.
