The trait provides little extra value while imposing significant costs. Noxious is also terrible outside of a few niche situations. Mostly, you're spending a trait on decreasing your job output and pop growth on your Homeworld and Guaranteed Habitable Worlds, and increasing your pop upkeep. In games with randomly generated AI empires, some origins are unique, meaning only one empire with that origin can be generated. 20k Corvettes (torpedo) and 10k destroyers (neutron launcher)did it for me last time I killed him. Nearly all the destroyers died. I did this on purpose, using the dreg fleets of the 3 empires I'd vassalized and integrated. The destroyers took the brunt of the dragons fury.
