Pressing SELECT tells me, in short, that my TV does not support HDCP and to use a different cable. However, the bolt only has HDMI, so that isn't an option. Signal is bad or card is. Most likely you have good downstream but bad upstream so the card can't stay paired. I had this happen plenty of times. Had to go through the guided setup until it repeated the problem. Sep 14, 2014 · I sometimes get this happening too. Usually if I power cycle the tuning adapter it fixes the problem (at least for a few weeks). If that doesn't work, try pulling out the CableCard and pushing it back in.

I've had this issue since Dec'13 and have been working with TiVo (Margret) and Ed (Cablevision).
