Jan 18, 2021 · V52 & V58 Issues with Verizon. I have had my Roamio Plus with Verizon Fios for several years. Things have run smoothly until recently. There are currently two HD channels that receive V52 (Searching for Signal) errors (both are in my subscription, and one works in SD). TiVo shows no signal lock on either.

A tech has just tried to change the splitter and the cables in my house but signal is strong (every channel I test for strength has 94 or 95). The Xfinity people on the phone have send "hits" to the TiVo box but that does not change anything. Testing with channel 759. It sounds like it might be the same thing. Not a reception problem. Each time the problem occurs the cable system has sent a new/different PMT which the host is required to send to the CableCARD. The CableCARD does a CCI challenge which the HDHomeRun responds to and A/V data resumes.I am in the same boat as many others. My Bolt gets v53 and v58 errors intermittently. Usually it seems to happen if I go up and down through the channels. It seems to be when I try to go past 19-1. Then it will not go to the next channel which is 15-1.
