Generally recoil will feel a bit softer as the bullet wt goes up. In 9mm I am not a fan of the 115gr so it is 124gr+p or 147gr+p HST.

It's hard to find 147 gr range ammo. Practice with any standard pressure ammo will do. So practice with .115 gr, because thats the most common range ammo, & carry 147 is fine. The only problem is practice with standard pressure & carry plus P. Because of the velocity difference.
