The species are great, 4 types of Ibex, mouflon, red and Roe Deer, wolves (with some cool missions Involving them). I believe you also get the 6.5mm rifle with that pack which has the longest effective range out of the rifles. Overall It is just a really nice map to play imo. TA is actually great for big pistol hunting, honestly. It's dense and pretty while you're walking and stalking. Pigs, call em in and shoot them . Roe deer as well. Geese and the .22 pistol. Imo the best way is to own the .22 pistol and shoot geese and ducks with it, Dont shoot moose with the .357.Open the long string of numbers. Paste the population file here, and overwrite when asked. If you no longer want this map, all you need to do is go to the directory just described while the game is NOT running, open "animal_population_1" with a text editor, select all the text, hit delete to clear it, then save the now blank file. That's weird. Drinking zones is usually the best for most maps but I find feeding areas better on silver ridge and just running around to the open areas in general not reall checking zones just glassing. Try running around some of the open areas in the southeast part of the map. I can hop on and shoot 10 animals in 20 minutes at anytime on it

Drink zone every 150m. Got a diamond pretty quickly and working on GO. If you want to grind for a GO definitely Rancho, they are only at 8 lakes so finding all the drinking zones is easy. I like Layton more though for the rest of the hunting with Moose Bear Elk and Ducks. Rancho is great for whitetail.Silver ridge is perfect for that. I love the goats and sika deer as ...The best thing about the mosin rifle is it replaces the .243 and .270 and is, arguably better than both. The .270 has limited use anyway simply because there's zero integrity on blacktail and fallow deer. The .357 pistol is absolutely awful and severely underpowered, especially with the first bullets.Yes spawn is random. The way I have gotten them is through herd management. I'll stick with one animal the whitetail and only hunt whitetails. I'll only take the 2 biggest bucks out of that particular herd and move on. No females until I get that say 20th male kill then only one female.

EDIT: That said, there ARE some areas of the maps that are better or worse for some animals as a general rule. Bohndorf canyon is usually pretty good for red deer, for instance. Saw 3 herds of red deer in the north area of Bohndorf near the lake next to the lookout as well.
