Is darkmoon greatsword good.

I picked up the Darkmoon Greatsword and immediately switched to it. I'm finding the damage output is pretty similar between the two. So I guess my question is this, beyond it's art of war, is there a majorly redeeming quality I'm missing for the Darkmoon? Dark moon is pure unusable vs a lot of bosses and it's not just because of the cast time for the special. Darkmoon isn't great. You'll be be genuinely better off damage wise with the banished knight greatsword infused with magic, and using a good damaging weapon art on it. That's the biggest problem with elden ring at the moment is just R1's don't do good damage.
