This mod scales their size based on your resolution to be the closest match to how big they would be at 720p (which the moodles were originally designed for). there's font size option in the menu. don't think that changes moodle size tho. I always need to change my resolution down by half to get the text the right size before I open the game. A bit annoying, hopefully they bring in a fix at some point.
