Tivo v58 error.
Sep 11, 2014 · My 1st experience from TiVo was to make the MOCA network perfect with SNR, splitters, and POE filter...that is the wrong answer. The correct answer is to disable the MOCA network and get the DVR working right 1st.
I am a few weeks in to Roamio ownership and about at the end of my rope. Roamio Plus, Cablevision, NDS cablecard. I can only go about 24 hours (sometimes 48) before I start getting V58 channel not authorized errors on different stations. I have replaced the cable card, had the cards...TiVo Products. Jan 4, 2018 · Liz. A signal level of 100% may be higher since the display only goes to 100. Perhaps the signal is too strong and overloading the tuner. Something on your cable feed may have changed and the tech will check your signal levels. For a basic Roamio or Bolt a level of 90% and SNR of 36dB is very good. The Plus and Bolt+ are different. Jan 4, 2018 · According to Tivo and Spectrum My cable card and TD are fine and tech is coming tomorrow but I’m not hopeful. I’ve tried everything including connecting with splitter. The latest theory is the signal is too strong 100% with SNR of 42 dB so they must “attenuate” it. Login / Join. Note: Restarting with the front button is usually useless -- you have to pull the power for say 30 seconds. Then you need to cycle the USB connection to the TiVo (or restart the TiVo) until TiVo Diagnostics says "Channel List Received: Yes".

This issue has popped up in the past with the NDS cards and V58 errors in 2015.. Back then Tivo did add some additional code to deal with the issue much like Silicon Dust did. Getting Tivo Engineering to dedicate resources to making their software work with some misconfigured cable system is another story.
