But I still believe to kick Mavelle out and not get Erys you still need Ioshua and Ashlay to both join. Marvel + Joshua - Ashlay = Boot Marvel in Erys' chamber. You get very good weapons for the A rank battles as well as star gaurds which make your guards and parries cause damage to enemies and a few other things depending on the character.
