I think seeing it as a carry specific option really limits the benefits of package. You don't have to carry the gun with the package to appreciate the lower profile of the design.
The strong point of the Wilson is that it is hand-built, with painstaking care, to be blemish free and fit to the best of a very competent gunsmith's abilities.
