Hey all, I got a buddy with an 04.5lly having a no start with this code. Truck runs a 50hp tow tune and is basically stock otherwise. He said it started having a high and low idle. then he shut it off. It sat overnight and will not restart now. I have had him check all his wiring from the ecm to the FICM. 09 lmm throwing p0090 code fpr circuit. I’ve changed fpr, mass air flow sensor, map sensor, throttle position sensor. Still getting code. I ohmed out my fpr wire and it’s good. I’m showing 25k-29k psi on fuel rail. I’m also only getting 2.5v-3v at the fpr plug. I’ve read it’s suppose to be 5v. any input is welcome. Have a 04 LLY Duramax that I cannot get too start up. I replaced the fuel filter housing as well and it primes up good and hard. The only code I'm getting is a p0090 something with the fuel pressure regulator.

It is fixed!! 03 duramax crew cab LB7.. No mods on truck and a little over 60k on the clock. After several trips to the dealer and this past week in the shop the problem is fixed. I had brought my truck to the dealer for a hard start (crank no fire) and an extended start issue. If you read the other threads (p0090) you will see what was going on.

This morning I changed my thermostats in the truck because one was stuck open. I changed it by removing serp belt, ac compressor, removing the two main plugs that rest above the hardline to the upper rad hose. Hey everyone, Got an 03 LB7 Duramax, and just replaced the injectors. It won't start, and it's throwing P0088 and P0193. Now, I installed a Nicktane Cat filter and I can hear bubbling. I went to drive it today and before I started it, it gave me a reduced engine power warning, I hooked up my engine code reader and it spit out P0090. I did some research and found out it has something to do with a fuel pressure regulator.
