The battery does however have a special heating circuit which extracts heat from an air to liquid exchanger located on the exhaust which transfers the heat through the battery during colder months or at a set air temp from the pcm. Adding coolant will make it go away. If you still have it after coolant level to Max then it is most likely a sensor/wiring/software issue. Since the car temp went up the first time you should all how much coolant did they add the first time. Be aware this engine have several issues with cooling system.Remove the plastic cover over the nut, remove the nut, lift the wiper blade all the way up like when you clean the windows then lift up on the nut end. You may have to rock it back and forth a bit. I have had mine off several times for replacing the struts, springs, spark plugs, CAI pipe, etc.
