The neck is about as svelte as a baseball bat and the 100% genuine ebonized fingerboard is pitiful. The finish flakes off for no apparant reason and the end pin is so poor it feels like the thing is mounted on a swivel. He has been told that to get this thing in decent shape would require $6-700 minimum.

The VP jr 250k is a standard passive pedal where the MVP offers a boost of 20db which is geared more for guitars and costs a hundred more.
