The Virgin Islands Dept of Health held a news conference this morning and stated they expect that the virus would be arriving to the USVI within the next 1-2 weeks. This is not a knock on anyone here at all, more of a statement about what the overall sentiment I am getting from people in the U.S. and that is... it’s all about what I want.

Carvel Rock off St John is maybe what you're thinking of but (a) you have to find a boat with an experienced captain who'll take you there and (b) the water has to be flat as a pancake to get you close enough to climb out onto the rock - no beach, just a very big, steep rock. 6. The Upstairs Bar is where the former Doghouse Pub was. It’s a fun space and they’ve added plenty of fans to keep the air moving. It’s a straightforward place featuring hot dogs and tater tots. We go to St John at least twice per year and stay in the Bordeaux Mtn or Coral Bay areas. Lots of breeze there to keep bugs off, but still a lot of mosquitoes and no-see ums. We took a spray this year called Sawyers Insect Repellant with 20% picaridin and had fewer bites.
