A friend has a 2006 that had the same problem until I did the same fix for him. I hope my 2017 Canyon avoids this most irritating of rattles. I had the transmission shudder develop around 9,000 miles. The dealer did the tranny flush with the new fluid and everything was fine until a couple of weeks ago at 20,000 miles when the shudder returned.Anywho took it to Chevy service and they have ok'd a new torque converter.
