I'm replacing my IP on my 7.3 Idi (the motor is out and its a bigger injection pump then stock) I'm wanting to advance my timing 10-12 degrees. Once on a 88 Toyota 75 series land cruiser with a 2H diesel and the other on a later model 75 series with a 1HZ diesel motor. In my experience It never lived up to its claims. Dec 4, 2021 · Hello guys. I’m new to this forum. I have a 1993 Ford F-350 7.3 Naturally Aspirated. I recently purchased this truck from a guy that say for 11 years (since 2011). Got a damn good deal on it too. Bought it non running. When getting the truck I noticed a rusted out valley pan with pin holes, rusted out pitted injection pump and old injectors. Hey guys, So in my epic quest to try and get this damn truck to be reliable, I have installed a new high torque starter, new 4/0 + and - cables, new GP harness, tons of new clean electrical, new duralift facet pump, fuel lines, filters, GPs. Truck barely starts even with a 200amp charger...AFAIK the 7.3's all use the same filter head, with the same fuel heater in it. The 6.9's had a fuel heater on the line between the lift pump and filter head.Location. Puyallup washington. You need to clean the filter head rub it dry. I take the seal off the filter an rub completly with fresh oil an stick oring back on filter inside of the grooves an screw it on. That's the best way I use to only rub the top an screw on but found out this way is a thousand times better.
